09 Feb Virtual Education Session – Scleroderma and Fatigue (March 16, 2024)
This month we will be discussing ‘Scleroderma and Fatigue’.
Join us for our March Virtual Education Session with Dr Jess Fairley.
Jess is an early career rheumatologist and PhD candidate in Melbourne, with a particular interest in systemic sclerosis and cardiopulmonary manifestations of connective tissue disease. Jess is actively engaged in teaching and mentorship for physician trainees and junior doctors getting involved in research.
People describe fatigue as feeling tired, mentally exhausted, or physically overwhelmed day after day, no matter how much sleep they’ve had or what they’ve been doing, even if it’s just everyday tasks. Fatigue is a common challenge for people living with chronic conditions, including scleroderma.
In fact, people with scleroderma in clinical studies have listed fatigue as one of the top 3 symptoms that bother them.
We look forward to you joining us.
